Why?

Lemme stop and be real; make the issue clear
Many people think racism left; Naw man, it’s still here
Discrimination sweeps the nation like dust in the wind
Segregation steals, kills, and destroys worse than the feeling of a singe

“Black is where it’s at! White just ain’t right!”
“We’re better than Black people; their crimes are out of sight”
Nation against nation; spilling blood, sweat, and tears
Even thinking about God’s creations going to war together is one of my fears

Why must we be separated? Why must one be right and the other wrong?
How long does racist segregation have to stay here? It’s been WAY too long!
And over a simple thing as the color of skin; is that any reason to segregate?
Jesus Christ taught Love; He never displayed hate!

Why did we let this happen? Why did it become this way?
We hate others because of how they dress, what they do, what they say
Without getting to know the person, we judge them by their appearance
Aren’t you guys tired of this, cuz I think this is just nonsense!

We live on the same earth; why do we kill each other?
We look just like each other; you’re ALL my sisters and my brothers
Jesus made us who we are; He doesn’t see color, but Divine creations
If we’re the Land of the Free, why can’t we live as one nation?
