More in Love With You

You make me smile when I want to cry
When I feel low, You set me up high
I’ve had sunny days that should have been filled with rain
You have given me Joy when I should have felt pain

Though You should have turned Your back on me, You descended down like a dove
I should have received justice, yet You gave me Mercy and Love
My struggles would not be defeated if You had not brought me through
All I have to say, Jesus, is I’m more in love with You

My life is in Your Hands, and You have never let me down
I receive blessings from You every time I turn around
Your Love has saved me, and Your Joy has made me strong
You never change who You are; I sing You as my song

Though You should have turned Your back on me, You descended down like a dove
I should have received justice, yet You gave me Mercy and Love
My struggles would not be defeated if You had not brought me through
All I have to say, Jesus, is I’m more in love with You

Jesus, in You does all the power in the world lie
You can cause a storm to arise simply by the blink of an eye
You position the sun just right in the sky, and You feed the birds of the air
You order the stars where to go, and they rest there

You expel all of my troubles, and You freed me of my sorrows
I cried greatly tonight, but I’ll have Joy in the morning tomorrow
No amount of words or actions could truly express how much You mean to me
If it had not been for You on my side, where would I be?
